Catherine, i appreciate your reaction. :) i guess i can see that some traits that are considered "feminine" are seen as more effective for transformative leadership, but i like that you point out to think like a "person" and not specifically a woman. Maybe we should just start categorizing qualities as effective or ineffective leadership skills instead of masculine vs. feminine?

I am still giggling over this list.  Your thought of effective and ineffective leadership skills is the way to go.  Working in a mainly male environment(General Motors Foundry) I was taught if you do the Job right,you gain the respect.  I held an elected position in  my local union for over 20 years. I learned alot in those years.  I have carried those skills over to the Board table.  Maybe we as persons should make our own lists???  This would be very interesting!!!  Thanks Sarah :-)

I think that is important instead of masculine vs feminine it should be performers or non performers period
